What can I do to prolong the life of my refrigerator? |

Besides having an annual service agreement we suggest three things to pro long your refrigerator.
Change filters as the manufacture recommend.
Keep the rubber magnetic door seals and surface area clean and free of debris.
Twice a year inspect the cooling condenser coils (usually located underneath) and keep them clear of debris. Using a vacuum cleaner and older style soft bristle soda pop bottle washing brush available from dollar and or hardware stores. Dust build up on the condenser coils is the major cause to component over heating leading to failure.
